We are excited to host the final “Blueberry Sessions” concert of the season this Thursday, Dec. 7th on the farm! Thanks to our partners Hix Snedeker Companies and Skate Mountain Records for helping to make the concert series a success.
At Weeks Bay Plantation, we pride ourselves in offering family-oriented outings and excursions throughout the year. The idea behind the “Blueberry Sessions” was to go one step further and create an intimate musical experience designed for the “moms and pops” and couples looking to enjoy a date night under the stars. What better way to enrich the quality of life for the entire family than to give mom and dad a night to refresh and reconnect in the idyllic surroundings of Fairhope’s premier organic farm! So before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins, take some time to relax and enjoy an evening with us on the farm.
Our season finale will feature Nashville singer/songwriter Griffin House, along with Boston-based soul and folk performer Avi Jacobs. Fisher’s Restaurant will also be on site serving up Southern-style plate dinners so be sure to come early.
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available for purchase online, at The Fairhope Store and Dr. Music Records, both located in downtown Fairhope. VIP tickets are also available for $40 and include priority seating and parking. Due to the forecast for chillier temps and potential scattered showers we have decided to move the concert to a more intimate setting inside our barn to keep everyone dry and warm. All amenities will still be available but the number of available tickets is now limited due to a smaller capacity. Get yours today while you can!
Music has a special heritage in Alabama—from small town stages to the iconic recording studios of Muscle Shoals. If you love music—and the stories behind the songs—this is an event not to be missed. See you Thursday on the farm!
